I hope i am worrying for nothing, maybe my symptoms slight pain in my ears and jaw, food coming back because of overeating are psychological as I am worried about my hospital appointment on Monday and I am stressed at work...not sure if these symptoms are a sign of anything else ???
psychological maybe???: I hope i am worrying for... - MPN Voice
psychological maybe???
Hi Margie, sorry to hear you have these symptoms. I am no medic but we are always advised that any symptoms which are concerning us are better checked out by our medics. I know stress can play a big part in how we feel but best be safe. Take care Aime
Wishing you peace and understanding. What you are going through sounds hard. I find the vague nature of MPN symptoms and reactions to our medications to be very upsetting. Keep talking to your doc and hang in.
Dear Margie1
I think you are making yourself ill with worry and that is all - you do not mention what type of Myeloproliferative disorder
you have. I have ET and have lived with it for many years now and have learnt to take as little notice of it as possible.
Please keep calm - we must learn to live with these things and not let them rule our lives. God bless. Dorotea
Hi Margie1
I am like Dorotea. I too have ET and recently started drugs ....aaahhh
Unless little symptoms are constant or disrupt my life, I simply make a note of them so I can inform the heam and then continue to ignore them. I sometimes grade them so I know how disruptive they are when they occured.
We all have ups and downs, but know we are here for each other.
Hope this helps

To be honest I have always been amazed how many different physical symptoms can appear from psychological situations stress and worry top of the list, not saying u should not be aware of stymptons tho just try and be logical but if you are still worried is worth speaking with GP if only to ease your worry which may help you, good luck with your tests
thank you all
Hi Margie
I have recently....last 6 months had severe stabbing pains in my head. Got ET. Had it for 17 years and on HU 1000mg a day. Went to docs again! Last week and she says she thinks I have trigeminal neuralgia ....put me on amitryptoline. Zonks me out though. Got to have an eye test to see if they are ok. When the pain attacks it's just so bad I have to stop what I am doing. I am sure you will be fine!
