Hi I’ve been suffering for weeks with what I now know are cluster headaches. I’m in agony, I tried a treatment yesterday that you use up your nostril but you only got one dose so 4am this morning it’s back with a vengeance. The only thing I can think that started this was starting prednisone. Has anyone else had a similar experience or have taken anything to stop these dreadful attacks, I already have bilateral sensorial hearing loss but the hearing on affected side has now got worse.
Thanks
Wendy xx

Hi, my problem is chronic migraine rather than cluster headaches, so have no first-hand experience to pass on. But another member posted a success story you should read healthunlocked.com/migraine...
Hi. I used to suffer from them so I understand your agony. I was prescribed pizotafen for mine and it did the trick. Decades later they came back a few months after I had been on 700 calorie a day diet. I had to stop the diet to see if it was responsible and they went straight away.
Yes this has come back after tapering steroids again so hence why they want me on them, had this issue for over a year and a partially collapsed lung. Thanks for your input.
