I have vestibular migraine and because I am constantly feeling I am standing on a wobbly bog I have problems eating without retching. Has anyone else experienced this and have you found anything that helps?

You may have a form of vertigo. I felt your way for years and saw an ENT who continued to say a Chrystal had dislodged itself and he did a technique on me and told me to avoid laying completely down for 3 days.

I'd have this vertigo 3-4 times a year and eventually figured our how to do the technique myself.

Here is a video. There are plenty of videos on it. You just need to know which side is causing the vertigo. You Caan do this by having someone look at your eyes and see which eye moves quickly.

This isn't a helpful solution to vestibular migraine as the dizziness is not caused by dislodged crystals in the ear. Vestibular migraine is treated with the same medication as other migraine types. If, like me, you have constant dizziness, it's most likely that a migraine preventative medication will help you. A neurologist is the best person to treat this condition. For more information on vestibular migraine I suggest the forum "mvertigo". It's very helpful.

Thank you I didn't know about the forum and will join it. I'm on pizotifen which does help with the migraine but not with my balance.

Vestibular rehabilitation might be useful in helping with balance issues if you haven't tried it yet.

Sorry to hear that. Everyone with migraine is different so not everyone responds to the same treatment.
