DAO test

I have been reading that people with a deficiency in Diamine Oxidase (DAO)can have too much histamine in their body which could cause migrianes

I have asked my gp about testing this and they had no knowledge of this

Does anyone now where I could get this tested privately

There was one that came up but when I contacted them they said they could not sell the test because of brevit

Check out Medichecks and also bio lab. I have been tested and have problem with histamine. Apologies - can’t remember the specific test I had though.
