Tips for Allodynia?

I suffer from static allodynia which makes brushing my hair, wearing headphones, wearing hats, putting my hair up, washing my hair and laying my head down on a pillow...basically a nightmare.

Usually I just suffer the pain if there's no way to avoid it but the last few days have been horrible so it got me wondering if any of you have any tips to help with the pain?

Thanks for reading.

I don’t have any advice as I don’t suffer with it but I just wanted to send you some support and gentle hugs if you need them ❤️

Hi Decode, so sorry to hear you’re affected so badly by this. I’ve only recently started to get this and fortunately it isn’t too bad for me. I do tend to try and massage my scalp when I get it, although I’m not sure how much that helps! Doing something is better than doing nothing sometimes I think! But I can appreciate that your pain is much worse and you’re probably not even able to touch your scalp. I will do some research and if I can find anything will let you know.
