Clutches of Migraine with Auta

Still going bananas with these silent migraines. Doc says not to worry. Has put me on 10mg Nortriptyline a week ago. But still had another one yesterday. Same as ever. 25mins shiny zig zag lines. That was first for 2 weeks tho. Was hoping the nortriptyline might have stopped it. Doc said thinks scans etc don't find much. Scared witless going get them every day now. Said they could come in "clutches". What does that mean? Sight excellent and physically v fit but how to cope with these beggars not easy. All doom and gloom at moment.

Anybody else been thru this?

Hi Ronnie

Yes I have I was getting them a lot sometimes 15 times a month. They are horrible, I have been on amitriptyline for over a year but they increase dose slowly. I'm up to 50mg a day and it has been 85 days since my last one. Not sure if its meds or coincidence.
