Do you guys ever feel like it’s hard to grasp something? Or that it’s hard to focus on somethings?
I have a lot of moments like this & it honestly feel like I’m slowing losing my mind! I also have a hard time focusing my eyes on certain things. I don’t know how to feel about this! Can this all be related to migraines??

I have brain fog sometimes preceding a migraine, or as a migraine hangover... Sometimes the brain fog *is* the migraine (along with a couple other symptoms). Like onthemove1971 mentioned, this was a daily experience when I was on topamax- a total nightmare medication that was killing me because of another condition (they should never have prescribed it). After a couple of months off that, the brain fog hasn't been as regular. I do have visual disturbances, but for me that's usually a warning sign that the pain is on the way.
Hi, I've been v migrainey for last few weeks... Yesterday I went to a bbq where I obviously had to socialise, I found it hard to focus visually on people, felt like I almost couldn't talk sense, & frankly couldn't wait to leave... I had only taken one trip tan folirat thing. I feel like my head is on a knife's edge, & driving home (I was concentrating... It was a just a relief to get away from people, even though they were all lovely! So I can totally relate to what you say. I, incidentally, didn't seem to get this fog when on topomax,. It really helped for a while, but then stopped. It does seem that the side effects can be bad for many though. Hope you at least don't feel so alone in your symptoms. I now relish the next 8 days or so, that must surely be due... This seems to be the pattern with me. Good luck 🤞
I agree!! And at night for me, it’s hard to drive bc it’s hard to focus on things. So I try to make sure all the important stuff gets handled during the day.
Yea, I Know what you mean - I have days where I feel sort of muzzy and its hard to think properly, not to mention hard to interact with people. And the eye thing, yea, some days I just don't seem to see so well, not to mention not being able to write properly. On bad days, it looks like a spider's crawled across the page, even I have trouble reading it... it's like my neurons aren't firing properly, so those times are also when I make lots of mistakes when typing, I'm more likely to drop things, trip over, bang myself on the door, spill my tea, whatever... not good days to drive either! I can;t blame it on drugs cos I'm not on any...
Exactly!! I’m so clumsy on the days I feel this way. Sometime I’d rather not have a convo with anyone bc I know I’m gonna be looking crazy!
I definitely can’t blame it on any drugs either. Currently I’m only taking vitamin d(bc I’m severely deficient), vitamin b complex, & ibuprofen 800 when I feel pain. Definitely don’t think those would cause these symptoms
