Vmitch- thanks for sharing your experience. I am planning to start if the medication I am on now doesn't work.

Just curious did you have to do 2 months of a migraine calender, blood work and a questionnaire?

I am shocked I have to go through all of that.

Also did they tell you that you had hypertension before the medications? That is one of the aide effects of RAYNAUD SYNDROME ?

Sometimes certain factors such as this type of treatment can trigger Lupus which may bring Raynaud's. If you have not already, it is worth asking doctors to do some blood test to rule out Lupus.

On another note - you must be from another country such as USA. People in England are not lucky to receive Aimovig treatment because NICE (who provides guidelines) has rejected Aimovig. They don't think NHS should spend £5k per year per patient on migraine ! People in Scotland will hear verdict next month.

Yes I’m from the US. The rheumatology did the bloodwork and ruled out lupus so now I’m just wondering if anybody else has gotten rosacea and Raynards syndrome after starting Aimovig

I've been taking Aimovig shots for 8 months now. It has been an absolute miracle for me with no side effects at all. I've always had a bit of rosacea on my cheeks, but it hasn't flared up or gotten worse. I control it with finacea and hardly know it's there.

Thanks it’s been great having less migraines and less intense too. But rosacea and Raynaud’s have started but is it worth getting off Aimovig

What’s with worse? That’s why I want to see if anybody else has had this reaction since starting Aimovig
