Has anyone here experienced more migraines after they conceived?

I have a history of migraines, but they were pretty silent for a couple of years, but when I conceived and got pregnant, on my first missed periods I started to get migraines.

After doing hormonal testing, they found that it was progesterone. So for about six months that worked around the time when I would get the migraines, but now they’re changing and coming more often and after my period instead of before.

They are a lot worse than before, a lot worse than my usual ones even when I had the hormonal migraines in the beginning. I’m not too sure if it’s too much progesterone in my body now which is acting like birth control that used to give me these really bad migraines.

If anyone has experienced this & found relief please let me know.

Hi, I had migraines throughout my two pregnancies. I lived on migralieve duo.

It was aweful 😣

Drink loads of water and try to eat healthy.

I wish you well 💖

Yes, this happened to my daughter after her third pregnancy. She was eventually prescibed non stop birth control which worked for a couple of years but then she started suffering from hell that was hemiplegic migraine, first diagnosed as FND. After another couple of years on various meds including an antiepileptic drug, things have calmed down and she is back on the birth control pill plus antidepressant. Seems to be doing infinitely better. Oh and botox has helped. Best to you. G.
