I changed to a gluten-free diet nov last year and I have to say that, along with giving up all meds (i now use minteaze and tiger balm only), i have found a massive improvement. So it might be worth a try, I was inspired by the book 'migraine miracle'. cant hurt giving it a try and after a couple of weeks am sure you will find dietary changes a little less daunting. I am not saying that I am cured I still get migraines but they are not as frequent and much less intense plus I dont get the rebound headaches from medication overuse which i was getting on an almost daily basis before.
