I need some advice. I ha e suffered with headaches and migraines since I was a teenager. Sometimes they come with feeling nauseous. I have always got better once I sleep it off. The past 2 weeks they seem to have escalated, i have had two attacks where I go to sleep them off and feel awful/worse, after sleep. That combined with horrible strong nausea feelings makes me feel terrible. I don't know what to do from here as they seem to have worsened.

I would suggest a gp appt because there could be a reason for them, ie. high blood pressure. Also gp. Might be able to prescribe a suitable tablet to allieviate the symptoms.

Ask to see a neurologist who is the head expert. Insist! We paid in the end but it is expensive, £250 for 30 minutes. However he diagnosed me as a migraine sufferer and asked my GP to prescribe me almotriptan with Naproxen and amiprazole ( to prevent stomach ulcers). These drugs combined got rid of the pain so I could go about my normal routine. However treat any drugs as a last resort and take them as infrequently as you can get away with. I could never sleep off a migraine because of the pain. The previous reply may be correct and you may be suffering from something else. Good luck
