Nasty migraine
Yes that could be migraine and i know how scary they can be. But just in case it is something else you should go to see the doctor, especially if the symptoms persist.
Take care and hope you feel better.

Hi, so sorry to hear that but migraines change all the time and throw you some wierd and often scary symptom's.
First... you're sure it was a migraine? Other symptoms the same...headache...aura...etc that you recognise as your migraine?
Second...heavy or tired...I sometimes get the feeling of incredible exhaustion come over me which could be confused with a feeling of being heavy....migraines are weird and horrible.
Third...yes I've had the feeling of weakness and being 'funny' on one side before...it was so scary the first time, I took myself off to the nearest medical centre...but it was a migraine...
I hate the fact I get these attacks, Migraines are the worst and affects your whole life...only other sufferers understand them. But there are lots of us so hopefully we can help each other. The chances are that this was another attack, especially if your other symptoms were present and the nasty ones went away with a the migraine. But if you are really worried, do go see a doctor for reassurance if nothing else.
I hope you're ok and this resolves itself, take care
I had one of those 4 years ago hospital couldn't tell me anything about it, felt like a stroke and I really thought I was going to die, I was 9 months pregnant at the time. ever since then I've had bad anxiety everyday.
Yes, some migraines can be that awful. A friend of mine had a bad migraine with symptoms that resembled a stroke, lost all feeling on her left side. She also had another attack where she called an ambulance she was in so much pain, gave her strong meds and she spent half an hour on the gas and air. This friend was assessed for her female hormones and since getting meds has improved and not had a migraine since. My migraines, although not as severe, have been really helped by a Magnesium supplement, taking a small daily dose of Aspirin and stronger pain killers and triptan from the GP. I urge you to call one of the Migraine Centres, the 1 in Leicester does phone consultations and may be able to give you some good advice. Good luck x
