Headache for the past 5 days

My mother is telling me its a migraine, but for 5 days straight? Im so scared its something worse. Of course looking up my symptoms online probably isnt the best :/ the only symptoms ive had is a headache and if it gets bad enough nausea

Yes, migraine can go on for days, even weeks. Try Migraleve over the counter from your pharmacy. Hope it clears up soon x

Hello!I actually went to the ER last night and they did a CT scan and found nothinf wrong, they gave me painmpills which I habent taken yet. But they did give me pain meds at the hospital which had worn off now. Hopefully this headache goes away soon!

Glad it was checked out. It did sound like migraine but if you haven't had it diagnosed before it's always best to get it checked out. When it is so bad you do think it could be something really bad. Hope they've now got on top of it for you.

Also excuse my horrible typing, im on pain pills right now janurary I go and see a neurologist to see if it was a migraine.

Hi sorry to hear you have had so much pain but yes sounds like migraine good you got it checked.Have you been trying to drink lots of water?I know its really hard but it may help you at this early stage.Your mum could try to get you some anti-nausea pills at the chemist they help quite a bit at least if your stomach settles the head seems a little less worrying.The other thing that might help is some codeine I take three tabs if I am only in the lead up so as you are in your first (maybe) migraine these may be of some help,but you will definetly need a stomach nausea tab if you take something with codeine in it.Goodluck. Oh or you could try natural get some ginger tablets or feverfew tablets but they do take awhile to work.

Hello! Thanks for the advice, im seeing a neurologist in Janurary but my doctor may say I have cluster headaches :/
