migraine leaving me feeling low and depressed also what kind off migraine do I suffer ?.
Hello there, sorry to hear you are getting those symptoms. If you are getting these frequently your doctor should explore these symptoms in a bit more detail. I guess feeling low is common amongst us who suffer from migraine but I haven't heard if people feeling delusional. Make sure you let your doctor know all of your symptoms to ensure you get the right treatment
Hi I've had migrains for years like you I have the same symptoms as you and worse I'm on naproxen it works for a while I don't think there is a cure I've been trying to find one for years it's hard if you have a job cuz you can't just go to bed out the way hope you find some relief jay
There are a whole range of treatments for migraine - which includes triptans as well as pain killers and even botox.
The symptoms you have sound quite severe - suggest you keep a diary for a while to see if there is anything that triggers them - record when they happen (in case they might be related to hormonal cycles) and if there is any tie to food. You could also ask your GP for a referral to a neurological specialist.
Would also suggest that you check out the possibilities of either Hughes syntdrome or B12
Symptoms of B12 deficiency can be found here:

if you think it is likely then join the PAS forum on B12 on health unlocked

as can be very difficult to get a diagnosis and treatment.
Good advise. Try to get to the root of your Headaches. Start observing and note down all the different triggers that start your headaches. It is usual a combination of a few that causes them. A good neurologist will help you to find out which type you are mostly suffering from. Try not to go down the heavy medication route, you will start to regret it after awhile when you get rebound headaches aswell. It takes a lot of time with research and patience and guts to manage your headaches, remember they are symptoms of something else that need to be recognised.
Even though, after many changes in how I live my life, I can still occasionally suffer a bad one because I became complacent and ignored my own advise. Also changes in weather, barometric pressure can be a trigger and if I then ignore a bit of my diet, forget my usual routine , the migraine reappears. You have to see yourself as practising walking on a tight rope, difficult but not impossible and the reward is worth the effort.
My symptoms are mostly caused by a deficiency of vitamine B12. I need monthly injections. Sometimes because of my work/ travel schedule I forget to stick to my regime and then together with a few other triggers this causes the reappearance of a migraine, so a hard lesson that reminds me I am lapsing and also in need of another injection.
I wish you strength of mind, determination and the help of a good neurologist specialised in migraine.
Thank you everyone its reassuring that I have people who don't think I am mad as sometimes these make me feel as though I am, had 2 thru the night so today my eyes are very sensitive too the light. Great idea too record them down. When I say delusional its like I am trying too say something and it comes out all mumbled and when I try too do something I think the word was more disorientated!! I didn't want too go down medication route but with a job so demanding I need too be in right frame off mind for it. I just wonder how do people work with them any advice ??
Problems with speech are fairly common with migraine. It's called Aphasia. Agree with the others you need to see a specialist but try to get one who specialises in headache as some neurologists are not great with migraine. Even so they should be able to rule out other conditions or refer you for a scan if necessary.
Ask to be referred to a neurologist and a cardiologist. Check for info regarding exercise related headaches/migraine. Keep a diary of all food and drink, some foods may interact with meds.
I hope you will soon find some relief.
