Hi there,

Please can anyone that has had botox for migraine relief be able to tell me how long they had to wait once refered?

After my initial appointment with the Neurologist I then had to keep a headache diary for about 7 weeks and had to go back for another appointment, then was given an appointment 2 days later to have my first botox session a week later. All in I had to wait 8 weeks before I got my first Botox session from my initial appointment.

Thank you for replying, where abouts are you? I'm in Hampshire UK. I had a neurology appointment back in March and I'm still waiting!!!

Hi I'm in Norwich, UK. I would give your neurologist's secretary a call to find out what is happening, it can't hurt and it may jog their memories of you as 8 months is a long time to wait.

Hi

I am due to have my 2nd round of botox in December.

My neurologist referred me and this took about 4_6 weeks from referal to the actual treatment.

I live in west Sussex so I go to st.Thomas hospital in London.
