Have a look at this:

As early as next week, parliament could award health secretary Jeremy Hunt sweeping new powers to ride roughshod over local patients and doctors and close any hospital in England.

David Cameron and Nick Clegg have the power to scrap this mad plan - but so far, they've kept their distance. We need to associate this law with them asap if they're going to step in and act.

I just became one of thousands of people who've signed a petition asking Cameron and Clegg to drop this plan.

Please sign the petition now before its too late. Thank You

I think underperforming hospitals should be held accountable, even if that means closing them. We cannot afford an inefficient NHS. And we are not doing the patients any favours if we promote further waste of limited public funds.

15.7 billion has leaked away in litigation, whistleblowers, (medical ones) shunted out of their jobs for doing the right thing and often patients who complain left trotting to the solicitor due to poor resolution. Imagine 15.7 billion spent on medical services. All parties are to blame for this culture past and present. M

That is no reason to waste more. I'm sure there is plenty of blame to go around. And, in my view, not enough power is given to the patients. I have had excellent and horrible service from the NHS. Sometimes it is best to close things down when they aren't delivering. As a patient and a tax payer, I do not want the government to waste my money on a bad service.
