Has anyone tried that ear piercing thing, I forget what it is called, that supposedly gets rid of migraines? I'm a sissy when it comes to holes in my body, but if I were to receive enough good information about it I would be willing to try it.
I have had migraines since I was a teenager and now as I've gotten older (and especially since I quit smoking over 5 months ago) my migraines never resolve. I feel like I am constantly wearing a halo over my head and an eye patch on my right eye. Tylenol and anti-inflammatory meds help for about the first 20 minutes and then it's back to square one again. This goes on as soon as I wake up. I wish I could go just one week without head pain.
Anyway, any suggestions if not about ear piercings that can alleviate pain? I have to dim lights on my computer and my phone. I wear sunglasses when it's cloudy outside. I can't be around loud noises for too long and strong smells drive me insane. I have tried to ignore it my entire life, but now it's starting to piss me off a little, haha.

Hi, I had my faith pierced and I was migraine free for 6 months!! Others in my office who suffer as well also had it done and some are still migraine free, I unfortunately am not, considering piercing my other ear, 6 months migraine free is still better than 4-5 migraines a month!! It’s works for some and not for others, I did notice when I got my 1st migraine 6 months after the piercing that my the piercing bled and was sore for the 1st time ever, it really is not that sore of a piercing, especially if you are a migraine sufferer, all of us rated the pain 3 out of 10 when it’s done and after it’s sensitive for some a few day up to a week, mine I slept in the pierces ear by the 2nd night. (Keeping in mind I’m an insomniac so if I say sleep it was probably only a hour or maybe if I was lucky 2) I say try it, what have you got to lose, if it doesn’t work you can take it out, if it works, welcome world!! Good Luck!
