Over the last few years I have seemed to develop awful migranes that literally wipe me out for days at the time. I say migrane because the pain is unbearable I feel sick and light sensitive.
It is at the temples of my head radiating over to the left eye (if I have a headach it is always over tip of left eye for some reason ) and back of head both sides pounding sensation. It's been made worse this time and I think "flared up because I have a slight cold so been coughing. Any slight cough or blow of nose the pain is horrible .laying down is hell on earth and haven't been sleeping its just bang bang bang . Is there any good remedies for this ? I cannot take tablet medication I literally have zero headrub menthol stick and a flannel I just want some relief

I also get it around my left eye, to the degree its a different shape to the other eye now. If you can't take any meds I drink coffee and lie on a hot water bottle for mine.
not sure this is allowed, I follow the Angela Stanton protocol, google it, lots of research, I find it difficult keep to as vegetarian and not American!
Well I found it was too strict a regime to keep to, and the meat bias not for me being a veggie which they are very anti! Still doing the salt night and before bed and sometimes daytime if remember, not sure if abhort the aura sometimes, but luckily they aren’t so bad for me anyways. Finding the Zoe info very helpful, utubes worth a watch, tho already have a fairly healthy lifestyle!
Sorry to hear you suffer with these too, they sound a lot like mine, severe pain, radiating across forehead from one eye and up the back of my head, nausea and often vomiting, sensitivity to light, sound, movement and smell, can’t eat, can barely sip water and they last up to 4 days. I get them every other week at least and they are hormonally triggered. Sometimes Sumatriptan can help on day 2 or 3. Are you under a Neurologist or Migraine specialist?
