I've been having a lot of thunderclap headaches lately and it's worrying me. I will be making an appointment Monday morning to see the doctor, but I would still like to know whether or not other migraine suffers have these types of headaches. It's particularly bad around menstruation.
Thanks for your time.

I went and had an ear piecing done and have not had a single one since 😊
I can't remember the name of the piecing but I'm sure if you google it then it will come up. It's very popular and I was very skeptial at first and so glad I gave it a go 👌🏼
Yes, I have experienced similar and particularly worse around menstruation. Some people are more sensitive to oestrogen changes around period time and also I believe prostaglandins are to do with it too. I found Mefenamic Acid helped a bit with my menstural migraines, but am back on the mini pill Cerezette now, which is really helping. Another option worth talking to GP if you get really bad menstural related headaches / migraines is oestrogen patches around the time of your period ( however, I don't think this is an option if you are trying to conceive)
