Does anyone get flashing lights when they get a migraine attack

Have not had migraine since last year. However in the last two weeks have had three attacks of migraine all with flashing lights in my eyes. This has happened when at work and I have been unable to see the computer screen in front of me. Should I be concerned?

I get flashing lights just before a migraine attack it's common and for me a warning sign one is on the way. However if you have not had an attack for a year maybe you should get your eyes checked out as flashing lights may be a signal of some other problem or could be something simple like eye strain from staring at your PC. when did you last get your eyes checked best to be safe.

I had the same thing almost daily some time ago. My doctor suggested I give up coffee, which I did and went on to Barleycup, a gluten free imitation coffee, which I am quite used to now. Within a couple of days, they stopped. I only get one at PMS time now.

I used to have migranes which followed these flashing light which looked like shiny strips of silver paper floating past my line of vision..

I now don't get migranes since I stopped eating foods with artificial sweetners in .

marvelous.
