I find listening to music really helps me take my mind of things and helps me relax. Do you find the same? And what bands do you like?

I absolutely 'love' music and it can be a whole variety depending on mood. Due to see Keane in November which will great; loving Seal, Mike Oldfield, Elton John, John Michel Jarre, but have a large collection of around 250 CD's and quite a few mp3 singles where I know I won't particularly like the whole album.

I agree music is a good way to cope with depression. I love various types of music from Led Zeppelin to Mozart but Im really into modern folk music like Seth Lakeman, Bellowhead, Karine Polwart etc. This is very uplifting music. Such simple melodies.

Good to talk to someone with similar thoughts. Thanks Getting-By
