I take fluoxetine 20mg capsule for MS fatigue, it helps with my clinical depression as well.

I’ve never been on Fluoxetine but Sertraline worked well for my lows (before I was diagnosed bipolar).

i was on sertraline 2yrs and did naf all for my anxiety..so my Gp and I decided to change…the reason being i became agraphobic 18mths back and after me reasurching it found 8 SSRIs to help…sertraline 1 of them so ive slowly come off it(not a good experiance) and have just started fluoxetine so see what that does only on 20mgs at mo …id say reasearch u r condition see what else there is…no one else is going to help you except YOU so go with what u learn and say right now what ya gonna do

on the sertraline? 2 yrs it’s only when I found out there were alternatives I thought right I’ve given it 2yrs and no better sooo…change

what started the agoraphobia do you think?

ohh god ive no idea..nothing bad happened but it was covid time so that may not have helped lol..im not too bad if I have 1 of my sons with me or my counseller

l was on citalopram for 19 days couldn’t take the side effects so dr gave me sertraline . Was so sick on it for a few days so dr has given me fluoxetine to try . I’m just so worried that I’ve had so many tablets in a short space of time and it may damage my brain . I haven’t started flouxetine yet as too scared.

hey stop worrying plzz you were on the drugs such a short time ya brain prob never even noticed ok…now if u have been given a new drug give it a go…try not to think about side effects that will make u feel worse cos u will b looking out for least little thing…try the drug u have nothing to loose and loads to gain

ohh noo I ended sertraline Friday started fluoxetine Saturday now we just have to in crease it

I am taking fluoxtine and it helps a bit. I am on 60mgs. I tried sertraline but had a reaction to it.

Hi there, I take Fluoxetine and Trazedone for low mood and severe depression. I used to take sertraline but found I used to get very nauseous. With Fluoxetine I don’t really get any side effects.

Hy Im on fluoxetine, I am agrophobic,I also suffer from chronic anxiety and was put on this drug 6 months ago,within days of taking them I started having muscle spasms,I started at 20mg and now up to 60mg,and each time theyve been upped ,the spasm have worsened,with no improvement to my mental health my GP says the spasms are coincidence, I dont agree but he refuses to listen

hey hun…if your body is telling you something listen to it…look up the drug see what side effects occur then go to u r Gp armed with u r findings dont give up

Like its already been said everyones different, only real way to know is using it. I only wanted to say, i was on fluxotine for nearly 15years, did nothing for me at all as far as i can tell. Went onto Sertraline, an feels a lot lot better, less anxiety, less deppression. Was on 80mg fluxotine, now on 100mg Sertraline, but its still basiclly the same prozac based med, though feel a lot better, more with it, not so drugged!
