Citalopram and weight gain

Just started on this but nhs say 1 in 1000 have weight gain but elsewhere it appears more common. Does anyone have any experience of this? This seems like a great sight. Super support for each other.

First week on this and so far so good no weight gain, potentially a bit of loss if it is having any effect at all.

I was taking 20mg citalopram a day for approximately 9 months during which time I, personally, did not experience any noticeable weight gain. But then again, in general, I am one of the lucky few,I suppose, that doesn’t put weight on, or at least very little, no matter what I eat or exercise I don’t do. Probably not very helpful.

Good luck taking them. I hope that they are work for you. Personally, I didn’t notice any adverse side effects. Apart slight lightheadedness / dizziness if I forgot and went without them for 2 or 3 days.
