You can often reduce the fat infiltration in the liver by weight loss. A low carbohydrate diet would work. You may need tests to determine whether you only have a fatty liver or whether you also have some fibrosis. You may also need to be checked snd monitored for liver cancer.

The best way to heal a fatty liver is to eat a healthy diet and to avoid alcohol and other toxins.

That will not work fully if there is also fibrosis present. Fibrosis is permanent scar tissue.

I thought that Fibrosis was a stage further on and more serious than fatty liver. I didn’t realise you could have both.
