Hi. I didn't know we couldn't... some guys need revisions to correct things. Removing tight frenulum seems to be quite common.

I had 5 stitch tunnels removed when I had my revision done also I’d get thrush infections before my revision but since I had mine 4 years ago I’ve not had a single problem at 54 years old I never thought I’d be 100% infection free .

That's a good outcome 👍🏻

I couldn’t be happier.

it is patently obvious that most posts about revision are because it will make it look better than the original circumcision did. Such posts are not allowed. If you are talking about a frenulum cut to ease pain on a tight frenulum then say what you mean. Judgments will be made accordingly.

When I had my revision due to a medically botched first adult cut I still had the choice of high/low/tight/loose for a region six months later and wanted to know in terms of sex and masturbation pleasure which was best. I found the opinions of other people who had had these experiences very helpful. As Moderator Norwich1 has said, I'm sure these can be judged on a case by case basis.

I guess it could be classed as cosmetic. But it could also be to right a wrong or for mental health reasons ?

This particular forum is for penis health and not for mental health problems.

What if the Mental Health issue is Penis related ? 🤔

Always read the pinned posts.

Totally agree that the issues have to be dealt with separately but there has to be a starting point.

Usually these issues are obvious and not to be started here

Sadly those troubled by some issue's do not know reslly know what those issues are.😔

An interesting view to hold. Thank you for your erudition. Perhaps you can put your mind to reviewing the owners’ instructions for me.

Sorry, you may have to run that by me again. 🤔

We have been given instructions for the operation of the forum so, in the absence of a reasoned alternative which can then be considered, we operate by those instructions.

Are you a Politician in real life by any chance ? 😉

No. Just the poor guy that has to deal with forum members

Some things don't make sense on here.

But we do appreciate the work moderators do, even if we don't always agree with it.

Hi i got my circumcision done about 9 months ago. Everything is fine however apart from the swelling near the frenulum. It has been like this ever since and idk what to do. I saw my uroligist today and he said everything is fine and it’s normal, but i feel as if it’s not. My penis should of healed within the first 4 months :(

you might want to post this as a separate issue rather than in a post about a different issue.

Guys. Thanks for your views on revision circumcisions. As things stand, the rules of the forum do not allow for the discussion of issues that are not about the health of the penis. These generally include size issues and other cosmetic issues. Most of the posts on revisions that I see are not about penis health issues but arise from men not having their expectations of their circumcisions realised and are, therefore, not suitable for discussion on this forum. I am sorry if some of you do not like the forum to be moderated but it is and I do my best to ensure that the forum survives to deal with the actual health problems of penises and not just with the aim to achieve the “perfect penis”.

Moderators exist to ensure that the rules of the forum are adhered to. Yes I am a volunteer but I do my best to ensure that this happens My other voluntary work of creating and managing clinical research projects or scrutinising the work of other clinical research projects from an ethical and endpoint point of view do, I believe, help and underpin my Moderator role.

For those who assist my work as a Moderator, you have my thanks for that support
