I have suffered from ED for over 15 years, I have tried the little blue pills but no help, I told my gp that they didn’t work and just gave me a head ache. I think it could be to do with all the meds I am on for angina and high blood pressure, any thought?

Sorry you are experiencing these issues, your Doctor should be helping you, sounds like it may be the other medication you have to take that is causing your ED
Go back to your doctor and keep going back until they sort you out
Viagra is the first pill they reach for on the NHS which is fine, but there are 3 others they can try. Keeping on the ramipril probably is more important, but maybe less dose of sildenafil/Viagra? Maybe a smaller dose of tadalafil instead. Can't be a new problem for them, loads of men are on bp meds and ed meds.
I am on 18 pills a day two injection of insulin a day and a booster injection of trulicity once a week, they say I am on so many drugs they have to be careful of adding more. I also have to self catheterise once a week after a kidney stone got stuck in my tubes last year and had to have an emergency op to remove it. I also suffer from IBS and sinus issues, I have asked why are all these things starting or getting worse in the past three year, but they don’t know, I have been in Basildon cardiac centre for a Coronary angiogram in middle of Covid lockdown, I have had 7 CT scans in past three years and three chest X-rays. I mostly put the ED to the back of my mind but it takes away the closeness of a marriage.
They can give you tadalafil in daily small doses so you can get an erection anytime, but, maybe this means that the dose may be low enough to not give you headaches?? I take your point about the closeness, (and despite the level we share in this forum I feel awkward asking this but) have you tried other ways to make Mrs Boxroad happy.
Yes we are still very close and happy to be honest we just have not had penetration for many years now over 10 years, we have been together for 39 years now
That's brilliant mate, and gives us all hope!! More power to you. Maybe you can get some different advice from the medical folk that can sort your problem out.
I have found over the years it’s not all about penetration, it’s important to talk about it tho, i stopped smoking 20 years ago and I think it’s the wanting it more than the action.
Have you tried using a vacuum pump no medication involved in that I've got Ed but mine was caused by having tup surgery on my prostrate and the surgeons policy to remove more prostrate than necessary I now have to use injections in my penis did to give me erections I also take a lot of medications for high blood pressure cholesterol arthritis pain medication speak to your doctor about them it's called Carver jet unfortunately they're not available at the moment because the manufacturers are not producing any till next year
GSA1250 makes a very good point about your testosterone level. I wouls say at 60 years old, you should be around 500 or more. Also, have you tried prostate massage? See if you get any feeling from that and if you don't then I would suggest that maybe all the drugs you are on are deadening the nerves that are involved with sexual feelings below.
