erection is next level frustration…

today count my 7th day in after circumcision.

I just had my craziest night ever that I had 5-6 erection within 2-3 hrs. I barely get more than 2 hours sleep and it’s morning already.

Luckily there is no blood coming out of any wound except the frenulum part where there is a tiny blood dot among the yellow scab/lymph thingy. My guess is the healing on frenulum is still unable to process smoothly due to erection stretch. Other than that. Seems like no infection blocking my way.

I use antiseptic spray to clean my wound and tap it dry with tissue, and I wash EVERYTIME when I pee.

any idea I can recover faster ? 🙃 this process is just so long and a huge turn down for my life now…

I’m currently on day 20 on my circumcision, I was taking vitamins and keeping my mind off my junk to make time go by faster. But multivitamins and eating clean helped

Having erections at the frequency you do is totally normal but not ideal when recovering from penile surgery. I had a similar situation after I had surgery where nocturnal erections (erections when asleep) would cause severe pain and tearing as the skin would stretch. I talked to my surgeon and they were able to provide me with a short term testosterone blocker (I was given an oral antifungal called ketoconazole) I could take before going to bed to reduce/eliminate night time erections until I healed. It was very helpful. If you find that erections create a lot of pain which makes the erection even more rigid and hard to get rid of you can ask for medications that can help an erection go away. Amyl nitrate is one such med, but it has to be right for the individual and only your doc would know that. Hope that helps.

i slept with my legs on the sofa and head on a pillow on the floor. Every night was agony . It’s a pain most of us seem destined to go through as part of recovery. Nothing helped.

what you are experiencing is normal.

Don’t be in a hurry. Healing time varies for everyone. Depends on your body’s capabilities. And it can easily take several weeks to get back to normal. And on many cases for inflammation to get totally resolved takes from a few to several months.

So be patient.

erections…well at least you know it still all works ok…speeding up the healing process… be patient your body will heal at its own pace…. Healing on the outside is faster than inside so listen to what your surgeon told you… no intercourse or masturbation for six weeks 😃👍

that stage lasted about 5 or 6 nights for me… a bag of frozen peas was my friend!! The amount of times each night I kept yo and ran for the freezer!

The good news it it’s only a few nights and it gets a little better each day!! I’m a week or two you’ll be able to forget this stage!

bio oil should help IMO. My dog had a heat rash...vet gave me some crap at a cost. Did nothing. Little bio oil for a week and it was gone. OIl keeps the skin soft and you want that so it heal quicker. Hydrocortozone cream might help but no Dr will recommend it for you
