Sensitivity

It’s been six weeks since my circumcision and it has healed very well however am feeling some sensitivity can i get anything to reduce this or will it become less sensitive over time

Any advice on this much appreciated

Your body will adapt the new situation with the exposed penis head. Healing is a process. Scar will develop for next 12-18 months. You can help the healing process by moisturising the incision site or using silicone scar sheet 4-6 months post-op at least.

Well, do you have specifically sensitive incision site. Normally guys tell their frenulum area and glans are too sensitive, not the wound/scar itself.

Seem to be more round the wound scar at the moment only feel it’s sensitivity when walking

I have same issue around incision site. I’m still wrapping gauze for work & take off when home. Been 7 weeks. Guess just deal with it for a while

Six weeks is still very early…. Be patient the sensitivity will die down👍

I used a cricket box for some of the day, in case it was pressed against. I’m in 70s with insulin diabetes so it took a few months to heal. Hope all goes well for you.

2 days will make my 3 month healing time, I’ve had no big issues just the incision area still gets a little swollen at times & the sensitivity on the head has reduced dramatically. That’s because I stopped wrapping it and kind of forced myself to get used to the feeling of it in my underwear and walking and that helped a bunch.

Man just leave it like that its gona get normal naturally i did mine in october now im all okay no more sensitivity issues
