Swelling after circumcision for Congenital Phimosis.

Post op 17 days after Circumcision.(25 yr old)

I have swelling near the frenulum and also on the right side near the head of penis. I wish I could attach the photos ,due to privacy reasons I’m not able to. I was diagnosed with congenital phimosis and stretching didn’t work for me. This is the first time my glans are exposed (after circumcision). Thr surgeon had left additional foreskin for me and have also kept the frenulum. Everything is healing ok except the swellings which is not subsiding. Anyone having the same situation,if so how many days did it take? Thanks in advance!

Frenulum will take the longest to heal. I’m 2 months and still swollen. Could take a few months

Did you take any med for swelling? I was given chymoral fortr and nsaid

No didn’t take any meds for it

Hi the swelling could take sometime to go down. Continue with the treatment the doctor prescribed and if the wounds are healed maybe some gentle massaging will help reduce the swelling in time.
