So basically when im with my girl my penis always gets hard but as soon as i take it out of my pants it goes back to soft or stays semi hard. I don't know what's the reason but it literally gets rock hard when its in my pants and not when i take it out.

I had the same situation! I was just nervous inside my “brain” for no reasons... when I got really horny and finally put my dick in then it got better.
