Sensitivity and damages

I have been circumcised for a month and half now and i’ve been reading negative things about circumcision. Do you really lose all sensitivity to the penis? Are you at higher risk to damages to the penis like, chafing, bruising and/or other injuries? I haven’t really experiencing anything “BAD” except lack of sleep due to discomfort and the feeling of losing something this important. I told the doctor that i’ve made a mistake because i’m unable to play sports/recreational activities because of the sensitivity coming from the head of the penis. It always get me aroused and it’s quite embarrassing. I want to forgive myself and live my life like the way it was (playing sports and stuff). I don’t need perfection, i just want to feel as strong as a horse like i was a month and half ago. Help me?

Circumcision does not always produce the perfect result and the results vary from man to man. Do not read too much from the internet. It is how your penis recovers that is important. Time will tell.

At your current stage wearing anything will make your glans feel funny but don't worry, after a few more months it should feel less sensitive. For now, you can rub the glans with fabric and let it toughen a bit. It will hurt for a while but it will recover quicker. Keep in mind that this will numb your penis. So, if you want sensitivity while being able to walk comfortably I would suggest wearing an artificial foreskin.

It depends on you and your body, im 4 1/2 weeks post op and i have had sex 2 times and no problem reaching climax, slow strokes ofc because mine still need some healing. Some people lose a lot of their sensitivity some just a little bit (thus improving their se life) and some cant cum with just penis stimulation. My advice is try to relax, just take good care of your wounds, and for the sports, you will eventually be able to play again without problems, i havent experience with hyper sensitivity that give me any erection, i just have a little bit of discomfort around the skin just below the gland (head) which i think its normal, because i have been using gauze to cover it for a long time and not letting it get used to the feeling. Hopes you get better man!

Wearing a jockstrap should keep things from moving around and getting aroused anytime

Hi I know how you feel, unfortunately circumcisers/surgeons do not tell you the real risks of this barbaric out of date surgery. I hope things improve for you. Circumcision is a dangerous procedure.15square.org.uk/

How dangerous? What are the main things should i worry about losing or recover from? It’s hard to live knowing bad things might happen to my man parts. Help me?!

Sensitivity loss is dangerous.. For me it was a high percentage and it has changed my life. This forum is for supporting each other and every man is affected differently by circumcision, so please don't take my example as what will happen to you.. For me the great loss in sensitivity made my sexual desires lessen, not good. It was the, and still is the biggest stress event in my life I feel 10 years older in the 2.5 years I have been post circ.. My op was in November 2018 ,I was 46. If you have the feeling of loss I know what yo are going through but please, you are in the very early stages of your recovery. You are probably a bit younger . I really hope that you manage to adjust

It will probably differ from person to person. For me I'm not as sensitive as I was before the op, which I struggled with for a while as I just didn't get the same pleasure. It has got a bit better but it still feels different for me, the bonus I guess is I can last much longer but the pleasure isn't as good.

Same for me. I'm really not understanding how some guys say it's perfectly fine. Did my surgeon mess up my surgery? Am I just unlucky? Didn't heal well? I was talking to a few guys before my surgery and all of them said sure you lose maybe tops 20 percent but sex feels just as good just different. This wasn't true in my experience. Biggest regret of my life.
