I had a circumcision like 5 days ago I feel the urge to pee often also peeing in the morning takes like 15 seconds to come out is it normal

My peeing doesn't hurt but sprays and morning is worst and feel like peeing often generally throughout the day.its swollen aswell.should I be scared or worried?

Hi that's very normal, urinating will be uncomfortable for a long while, this is due to the internal swelling and trauma the penis has undergone.

When i first urinated it sprayed everywhere, im 15 days post op and now urinate straight, but it forks sometimes, as i still have swelling.

Drink plenty of water, put vaseline on your urethra so it does not dry and urinate standing in the shower. Change bandages if wet.

As the swelling reduces urinating will slowly feel normal. When you urinate, relax and don't force, let the urine travel, relax kegels. Go when needed don't hold it in or postpone.

Its very normal..but will take time to heal

So if I have frequent urge to urinate it is not an issue is it? Cause I got scared ? Plus my head sensitivity isn't to bad I'm just 6days in and can let clothes touch without pain is it normal aswell?

So after 5 days i got frequent urges to go, that's probably your bladder trying to empty remaining fluids/anaesthetic wearing off, then my routine became dependent on how much fluids i drank.

Are you drinking fluids?

I always say this if you are scared, give your doctor a call, your penis will heal but will get worst before it gets better (op trauma flattens out) , so you need to have an expert you can call i. E. Doctor, to check in with. I have a gp i can call and book appointments, its your penis at the end of the day, don't leave it to chance or forums. I saw my doctor last week, im 15 days post op.

No sensitivity in glands is normal, there may still be numbing agents from the op. I think you'll regain sensitivity once it wears off then your glands should find a common ground, that differs for men though.

Yea i did visit my surgeon he's an old timer and told me not to worry.he wasn't clear just told me to be brave and gave me neosporin cream should i use Vaseline instead ?. Also how did u handle night time erection those are the worst

That's great you visited your surgeon, that's the best opinion you will ever get. Keep him or a doctor updated, the effort is needed.

I used vaseline to lubricate my glands during the day, never used neosporin but use it as its an antibac. My doctor last week prescribed fucidin instead that i line my non stick bandages with to keep infections away.

Night time erections is the biggest challenge, i haven't done well with them. But empty your bladder and mentally try and prepare to keep thoughts clean, when you are not sleeping. When you are in deep sleep that's another thing, you are gonna have an erection, it may hurt, if so your body will naturally stop the erection, but i sleep with a bandage to soak up smears of blood. My doc left a bit of skin to prevent erections from being painful. Some of my dissolvable stitches popped, but the wounds are healing on its own and fucidin keeping infections low.

But sleep normally, the body is it's own deterrent with erections. Likely you will see blood so mentally prepare yourself, not a lot though, just smears.

Ok ill try to empty my bladder but in the morning its feel uncomfortable till I pee in the morning guess it will take some time to get better.anyway thank you for the information and telling / preparing me for it

No problems, i am 15 days in.. You won't like what you see however, trust me it will get better. Trust in your body, eat cleanly too. Keep us updated.

My doc also gave me Neosporin to prevent infection. So, I applied it daily for about two weeks. Then I switch to Vaseline!
