This is quite embarrassing for me to post this but I feel I need to reach out for some advice. I am a 27 year old male who (for the most part) has been generally sexually active without any issues.
However, in the last few months I have noticed that when masturbating, I ejaculate without having an orgasm. I know that both of these are separate processes but this has never been a problem in the past and is very frustrating as you can imagine.
I have found that I can only reach climax approximately once in every three attempts at masturbating, but even this is a rough estimate.
I should mention that I recently had a hernia operation, but I still had the same issue prior to this.
What could be the cause of this? Have any men in this community experienced something similar and if so, how did you tackle it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading!

Have you made contact with your doctor to discuss the problem?
I've had similar issues (orgasm and ejaculations happening independently or not at all), but as a result of nerve damage post frenuloplasty surgery. I've seen a psychosexual counseller who basically has encouraged me to change habits, mix things up, find new ways to excite myself and "relax". As my issues have a physical root the advice has not cured my issues but it has helped - and calmed some worries. The below link shows some different masterbation techniques that were a game changer for me. If you are intact they may help you too.
