Hello
This is my first time on this board but I am also on the Thyroid UK board - hello!
I've always wondered about this - and hope that someone might be able to answer or have any other explanation?
When I was 43 - nearly 10 years ago - I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid via an ordinary blood test and then not long after a GP I was seeing at the time said that I was postmenopausal according to test results.
At the time I was experiencing hot flushes and also urinary incontinence (a little bit) - when under pressure (like full bladder, laughing, sneezing). But i was also having regular periods. He put me on HRT then and i've been on it ever since. I've just swapped from Evorel Sequi to Evorel Conti - but I'm not sure if that was the right thing to do.
Can you be post-menopausal and still have periods? When do you know to switch from Evorel Sequi to Conti? Answers very welcome.
Thank you ☺️
