Hi, hope this finds you better today! I also contacted bacterial meningitis in 2015. I experienced those same feelings and still do but less frequently. I found a good neurologist that helps me deal with the after effects of meningitis. Rest helps more than anything. Take care of yourself!
Thank you for the reply can I ask are you taking anything for these feelings ?
Hello! Hope you are doing ok today. I can totally relate to this, I think being "young" has alot to do with it aswel. Its very hard to adjust to living an active life to then recovering from an infection like this. I would look into some counselling maybe to help process these emotions. Not for this but j have previously done a CBT course to help with my mental health & it really did help me understand what was going on in my head & it's good to know your not alone. I also have bad days & better days, the good weather aswel I feel puts alot of expectation on ourselves to get out & about especially if u have wee kids. I would recommend trying to self refer for cbt or even online as a starting point 💖 hope u are well today x
