Ice pick headaches after bacterial meningitis

Anyone experienced short lived stabbing pain in head? I was admitted late Dec 19 and spend 2 weeks in hospital then home since recovering. The stabbing pain is a new thing! I’ve also got a wisdom tooth coming through one side and long standing TMJ the other. The meningitis was caused by an untreated ear infection which I thought was my TMJ symptoms Ear infection also came back last week and I’ve been on antibiotics again. So fed up with it! Also doctors seem clueless.

Yes ice pick headaches very common. You poor thing. I was diagnosed Sept 19

Im in almost full recovery now. Your a few months behind me. Keep going. Youre on the right track.

Yes I have had icepick headaches. I still get headaches 6 months post BM. Not pleasant but nothing about this illness has been! Hust grateful to be alive and improving albeit slowly. Drink lots water its important to stay well hydrated and if you have headache drink a glass water.

I have headaches still but not as frequently& it’s bee 3 years since I had Bacterial Meningitis. I did have permanent hearing loss. I’ve found when I’m really tired I get headaches, etc.
