Guess my first post didn’t post. Ugh.
If and when I get a meningitis diagnosis I’ll say more.
In 1964 there was an outbreak of meningitis in the USA. I’m sure I was a victim.
So, my suggestions are:
Migraines-Bupap-low dose to start and it’s expensive. If you have a whopper migraine take a full dose but plan to sleep.
Pain-enteric coated aspirin-all other anti inflammatories seem to make me feel worse.
Benadryl-low dose. Sometimes a little helps and sometimes a lot helps with pain and such.
Nausea-low dose phenergan- you can always increase the dosage.
Narcotics as last resort.
I sleep with ice on my head and walk around with ice on my neck daily.
Please be safe with any medication. Always always start with low doses and if something doesn’t work move on to something else.
Think disability- only you know if you can work-just do it.
Find an “out of the box” doctor. Lyme, infectious disease, or neurologist.
Rest. Do not give up.
Think challenges not stress.
So so sorry we are all in this boat.
