Can neonatal meningitis be cleared permanently

My 2 days baby got and now she is in NICU for a week. Doctor said now she is doing good and can be cleared 100%

I just want to know will it give any side affects after she grows up

Hi,my daughter got it at 40days old. thank God it was dignosed and cured early enough and now at age 20 she is a healthy child. she had issues after the strong antibiotics but now she is fine. I hope the same for your baby. Ask doctors for a check for you as mayebe strep b is the cause

Hi my daughter had it and stayed in hospital for 15 days on various antibiotics, she recovered completely and is a very happy healthy 5 month old. She is being followed up until the age of 2 by consultants to monitor her development however they have no concerns xx
