VM and fatigue episodes 6 months after.

Hi, I had suspected VM in July 2017. Crushing headache that increased over the course of 6h, vomiting, slurred speech, dizziness, extreame reaction to light, raised temperature, sore neck and extreame fatigue. Day 1 I was checked by a Dr at a course I was on, advised to go to hospital as suspected meningitis. Convinced it was just a killer migraine I went home however went to hospital the 2nd day feeling worse. Given lots of antibiotics and fluid as severely dehydrated. Tested positive on leg test for spinal swelling. So treated for VM. Went home that evening as I have 2 little ones and still didn't take it all very seriously, plus the hoapital were short on beds for people who were in a worse state than me.

Started back say work 2 weeks later after summer holidays over. Felt a bit like I couldn't retain information too well, I was working through a fog, got tired easily and picked up every bug going (teacher). Have been getting joint pains but put that down to breast feeding, increase in migrains ans severity, don't respond to previous pain relief at all. But the strangest thing is if i overdo it, am ill I will in the evening be overcome with a sudden exhaustion. The only way I can describe it is my body wants to sink through the floor. I am too heavy lined and tires to sit on a chair or lie down and have to crouch against the seat. Duringbthe time I am too exhausted to talk and my breathing can be different. I am aware of everything, but separate from it, I feel my body but peripherally limited awareness of pain etc, I can move my fingers to respond to questions but it is exhausting. This lasts for 2-10 mins then I will slowly regain full awareness and feelings. I am tired after but normal tiredness. Almost like a speeded up migraine not involving my body.

Does this sound like just the recovery of VM? Mine must have been mild compared to the stories I have read here. If so will tbey ease off given time? I suspevt they are worse just now as I have had a virus/cold thing for 5 weeks that has wiped me out but this started within a week of leaving hospital.

Thank you for reading. It may be jumbled, I seem to find it more difficult to write succinctly now.
