VM in 2011 and have not been normal since. Please HELP.

Hello - So i dont even know where to start. I am 39 years old mother of 3.

I came down with VM in 2011, I was hospitalized for 10+ days and then released, I then had a relapse a couple of weeks latter. About 6 months in I was better, as in I could get out of bed, and open my eyes.

My problem is that I have never been normal since then, I have been sick all the time, all over body pain, joint pain, muscle pain, head aches, numbness, weight gain, stomach issues. I go and go and then I am down for the count for days. I am not living a normal life.

About every 6 months to 1 years i end up in the hospital with what they call

" Viral Syndrome" because they have no clue what is wrong with me. Low BP, High inflammatory markers, High infection markers, joints are all locked up, body pain and complete fatigue.

What is happening now is that I have ALL kinds of post infections in my blood, that is turning into a auto immune disorder.

Lymphocytes at 3000

Coxsackie B1 AB - B6 AB all 1:70 and higher. I could go on and on with all kind of infections in my body, but this one scares me, because if you look it up it can lead to heart problems and VM..... go figure, know one knows what to do or what is happening... I need HELP.. DO you know any thing.. Please HELP . I am loosing my life to this.

Eileen

Hi there,

I'm so sorry you're dealing with all of this, especially while still being a mom. I'm recovering from VM and am experiencing similar symptoms since it all happened, but many of my symptoms have lessened or are slowly becoming less frequent. I'm not a doctor so take this with a grain of salt, but here are some things that really helped me:

-Rehydration Salts (you can find them on amazon). It's like super-gatorade. I had a very hard time staying hydrated when I first got sick.

-Vitamin d supplement

-A good probiotic (this REALLY helped)

-Gentle stretching. It's not exactly full on "yoga", but I do simple stretches that are based around lengthening the spine and the neck, like the "extended mountain" pose, and "child's pose". It took a few weeks of doing these twice a day before I started feeling results.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for the advice, so I am on Vit D3. I have it up to 56, I need to get it to 70+ to feel good. I am also on a great probiotic ( activate you).

I will give the Rehydration salts a try.

I just want all the infections to go away and my body to be normal.

back in 2014-2015 - I am in the medical field and work with Wellness Centers. I was on top of my diet and was doing daily IV Vitamin therapy, I felt so good. I also did a high dose round of Silver through IV and it killed almost all my viruses.

I need to get back to feeling good.

I've been looking into IV hydration therapy and really want to try it, but it's pretty expensive and the hydration salts work pretty well. I should also mention that I eat a really clean diet, lots of vegetables, and I make sure to eat 2 cups of wild blueberries every single day (they're VERY antiviral). I got the idea for the blueberries from a holistic doctor who said that they are the "strongest antiviral on the planet"...not sure if I believe that, but I love the wild blueberries so I'm gonna keep it up just in case.

Also not a dr but I think hydration is a major thing! Also the probiotic like mentioned above, maybe vitamin c to boost your immune system. Have you been checked for any bacterial infections? What about Lyme? I also see a lot about the medical medium books, it’s all about diet and eating certain foods and vitamins to help with different illnesses. It’s worth a try. I hear a lot of good things about elderberry syrup also. You could try that! I will keep you in my prayers and I’m praying you find something that helps you feel better soon!

Thank you so much...

My Lymes is positive negative... So to find a Dr. that wants to treat it is hard to find.

Yes when i do the IV Vitamin therapy I add HIGH does of Vit C.... I need to get back on track...

I have all kinds of crazy markers..

I wish i could find a Dr. that would take the lead and help me.

You poor love, you really do sound like you're in trouble. I don't know if my daughters story could bring you some relief, but here it is anyway:

You can find my 28 year old daughter, Rosie S' Story, via the link on the forum stories from the home page.

We found that cranial massage worked wonders for her. Her job is working with horses on pretty much a daily basis and is very physically demanding.

It is rare for a story to be so positive and we have tried to let people know that this amazing complementary therapy worked for her. It helps release the spinal fluid which VM leaves a blockage for. Rosie is pretty much cured after around 10 sessions coupled with actupuncture, although found awesome relief after only one appointment. She is now free of all pain killers and antidepressants and feels right back to her old self.

We can only let you know what worked for her. It's not for all, but has now given amazing relief for many. It seems the success could be to do with the skill of the cranial osteopath you use. So it is important to find out the osteopaths credentials and experience in this specialised field particularly dealing with VM sufferers, if you can. (Not all osteopaths realise that this helps VM sufferers, it is often carried out on young babies with birthing problems). You need an osteopath and not a therapist who mearly has some training in cranial massage.

If you find you are getting the violent headaches and feeling lethargic and depressed after a few weeks, give this complementary therapy a go, it really could be worth it and save you being on prescribed drugs, along with months, years, of unnecessary suffering.

Kind wishes and best of luck
