My daughter Alexis "lexi" had mengicoccal septicemea at the age of 4 months in march 2012 now im not one for praying but I can honestly hand on heart say that I prayed like it was going out of fashion that my baby would pull through and fight it and maybe the big man upstairs heard my desperate pleas. But I am thankful everyday she pulled through. She is now a happy healthy boisterous 2 year old but without the medication she received I dont know what I would of done x

Such a wonderful uplifting post about your daughters recovery. It is so lovely to hear that she is now a happy healthy boisterous child. It must have been an horrendous experience for you to go through but wow she has certainly beaten the odds for whatever reason is right for you to believe. Best wishes x
