Change of appointment location

My Mum currently has 6 monthly surveillance CTs & follow up appointments for 2 benign meningiomas. She had another one removed 4 years ago.

She has always gone to the Sunrise centre at Treliske Hospital for these appointments, but is now being asked to go all the way to Plymouth hospital (where her surgeon is based) for her appointment tomorrow. Apparently one of her meningioma has grown slightly, but they won’t tell her anything else. She is getting no symptoms.

I’m trying not to over analyse, but why are they making her go all the way to Plymouth, especially during lockdown?? :-(
