I need to open a bank account for my son after getting Property & Affairs deputyship jointly with my daughter.
Does anyone have advice about good/bad experience with individual banks or is there any bank that is particularly recommended? Or are they all much of a muchness and it might be best to just open an additional account with my own bank?
Also any feedback about the process involved would be helpful.
Thanks

we just opened another Nationwide flexAccount and paid his DWP BENEFITS in. We opened a second account to receive his council care costs and kept it separate for the council audit every year
If you have a local coop branch, they are person based, small friendly branches, and were lovely to by brother when we opened an account. He could have been overwhelmed in a bigger, busier, more jobsworth place. An ethical bank might just help the good guys, too. Some banks support the kind of businesses that make life harder for the needy, but the 2 mentioned so far here are better than most.
