Where can I find Resources to Support for Adults with Down Syndrome?

Hi Katie. You could try the Click online sessions run by Windward Day Services. My daughter (aged 30) enjoys them. There is a whole range of sessions throughout the week with lots of different things to do, and it's a really friendly online community. Their website is windward-dayservices.co.uk and their telephone number is 023 8086 0005 or you could email them at info@windward-dayservices.co.uk. You can try a few sessions for free to see if you like them.
hi. I’d try contacting adult social services. They should be able to point you in the right direction. Or find your local mencap group. They tend to run sessions to get people together. Volunteering or evening classes are also a good way to get to know people. Also churches and other faith groups often run events. I’m sure there’s something out there that will suit you. Just take the first step even if it seems a bit hard and keep trying new things till you find your niche. Good luck.
