I am totally fed up with the lack of services within Bangor/Bethesda area of Gwynedd for people with LD/PLD , looking to chat with similar minded people with the aim of forming a MENCAP Arfon group to: lobby for local services, to have a voice at Betsi Cadwalder UHB and to redress the social injustices adults with LD face on a daily basis in North Gwynedd

Thanks for the help, but regretfully there are no network partners in the Bangor/ Bethesa area- plenty in neighbouring areas but in an area of 7sq miles and population of 28k excluding student, FOI revealing over 91 adults with ‘needs not met’ on their care plan, and quite frankly I feel that I have hit the tipping point where positive changes must be made in our local lived community.

There is only one day service provided by a local charity who do the best they can but it is not enough .
