Swimming opportunities for my autistic son in Herts/Beds

My autistic son is in supported living near Hitchin Herts.

He swims quite well and loves swimming but the private health club pool he attends regularly at quiet times just closed down.

He doesn’t like large busy pools, and we are having trouble locating a suitable pool for him to use.

Can anyone suggest a suitable pool within 20 miles of Hitchin?

Thanks

hi. I don’t live in Hertfordshire but there is a very good parent carer group called Supporting together. See if you can contact them via their website. Someone might be able to help you. Good luck

I believe Kempston Swimming pool in Bedford have a disabled swim session on a Tuesday afternoon approx 2.30pm. Im not sure if this is too far for you to go.

Try Keech Hospice Hydro pool, north Luton, if its within your range. Lovely warm pool and numbers very limited
