The college or wherever is providing the course should be able to help you and provide you with a scribe. They should have a department or someone responsible for supporting disabled students. Legally they have to make reasonable adjustments for you. You may be entitled to use a laptop and type if that would be more helpful for you. You may need a letter from your healthcare providers to confirm that you need it. GP may not be aware but people like occupational therapists or educational psychologists can say what support you need depending on your disability and how it affects you.
