Son was supposed to receive a learning disability assessment through CAMHS. CLDT have said cognitive assessment was carried out and wasn't low enough to show sld or any learning disability. However is this the standard way of screening or eliminating learning disability or spd ??

I would challenge if your not happy with what they’re saying speak to Mencap helpline to see if they can advise you
mental health services are much worse then CLDT's so I would resubmit for reassessment with LD teams. Maybe too late though.
I have been evicted from my landlord and the council have sent us into the hotel
What did he score in his IQ assessment? Some CLDT still have patients that score below IQ80 who they support.
I agree CLDT my Son scored iq70, but I still pushed for Assessment, he has ASDc, DD, ADD/ADHD, Delayed Processing, Dyslexic & developed Paranoid Schizophrenia, through bullying & trauma, then inpatient stay, caused more Trauma.
