Quick update about new coronavirus information

Hello

I have just been in touch with our policy team and they have a quick update about when new information about coronavirus will be available:

• NHS Easy read guides on the national lockdown is coming in 4-5 days. Mencap are also working on our own Easy Read guides for this that I will post on here as soon as possible.

•We understand the Department for health and social care are aware of issues relating to clarity around exercise exemptions and we understand that changes will be made shortly. We will hold them to account on this and continue to monitor the situation.

•We continue to raise concerns about the hospital visiting guidance. If you, or your loved one, experiences problems getting the support they need during a visit or stay in hospital, please call the helpline for support.
