This is a very important issue, withdrawing money on behalf of a special needs person not only should it be recorded showing all expenses including cost of care a close member of the family should be allowed to see this information if requested, there does not appear to be a formal procedure in place? Can anyone please advise

I am my sons appointee. His money goes into my bank account and I transfer it to a sub account. I don’t really keep records but obviously the bank statement shows what’s been withdrawn. I dont know anyone that keeps records if they are the appointee. No one ever told me I need to keep a record.

I believe keeping records would only really apply if someone other than parents or next of kin ie care providers were appointee, which is the case for some people.
